Reminder: NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program


Admissions Requirements
To be considered for admission to the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program, each applicant must meet the requirements listed below, have a NASPA member agree to serve as a mentor, and have the support of their institution's Senior Student Affairs Officer.
   Identify as a member of a traditionally underrepresented or historically disenfranchised or student population, including, but not limited to Black/African American, Asian, Hispanic/Latino(a), Indigenous (Native American, Alaskan, Hawaiian), Multiethnic, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or as having a disability; and
   Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application. Applicants with a 2.7 cumulative GPA will receive preference in the review process.

Application Process
Applications must be scanned into one PDF and emailed to nvictoria@naspa.org by September 29, 2011. There Are No Exceptions. Both The Fellow And Mentor Will Receive A Confirmation Email Once The Application Has Been Processed. This processing may take up to two weeks. If a scanner is not available, fax your full application to (202)204-6079, attention Nathan Victoria. Applications are reviewed by the NUFP Regional Coordinator in the applicant's institution’s region. A recommendation on the application is made to the NUFP Board Chair who then makes the final decision.
